Both the Main Library and Mackintosh Library are accessible to wheelchair users. To access the Main Library, simply ring the bell to the right of the entry barriers and a member of staff will open the automated gate for you. A wheelchair accessible lift reaches all levels of the Main Library. There is also accessible deking available in the Computer Centre.

A hearing loop is available at the service desk in the Main Library. Simply turn your hearing aid to the T-position.
There is visually impaired magnifyinh equipment located in the Main Library.
The Library and Computer Centre offer a number of assistive technologies and software to help you get the most from our service and resources.
If your disability means you have particular individual requirements that you would like to discuss with us, please contact the Library Administrator.
Any information you give us concerning your disability is treated in the strictest confidence. We will not pass on this information to anyone else, unless you grant us permission to share it with other support departments such as Student Services.
Student Support Services provide a variety of advice on different aspects of student life. They offer counselling, student welfare, Enlgish language support and learning support & development. All of these services are provided for free to all GSA students. More information about these services can be accessed on the VLE.
